Otherworld Byron Bay Art Gallery photographed by Kate Holmes Pho

Otherworld

..is Byron Bay’s most immersive art experience – an evolving playground of light, sound, and technology; where imagination takes centre stage.

Otherworld features local, national and International visionary artists and like most galleries, guests are invited to enjoy the installations at their leisure however, unlike most galleries, this one loves you taking pictures and videos and enjoying selfie heaven!

The immersive experience also rewards you for being curious and playful, and interacting with art. Push screens; place your head in kaleidoscope boxes and see yourself replicated dozens of times; move in front of motion detected wall art, make AI characters copy you, lay in bean bags in a 360 degree immersive cinema dome watching immersive films, watch paintings come alive through your phone and enjoy projected mapped sculptures.

Otherworld is an all ages, all weather venue in the middle of Byron Bay and adds a special, unique and wonderful experience to your Byron Bay visit.
