Having opened at the start of 2022, Common People Brewing Co is a craft brewery for the people of the Byron Shire and beyond. Owned and created by born-and-raised locals and their partners, the team are family and friends – common people.
Common People is your home away from home. A craft brewery with an inviting tasting room, set within a working production house, it’s a great place to relax with friends and family. There’s a breezy garden deck for summer, a cosy fireplace and heating for winter, plus board games, Friday happy hours, food and drink specials, events, great tunes and dogs are welcome too!
We have a Core Range of crafty and sessional beers that are always on offer, including an IPA, a Pale Ale, a White Ale, a Hazy IPA, a Lager and a Stout. We also get super crafty with our Seasonable brews which hang around for a few months, and always have something new for you to try with our limited edition Special Batch Brews, which are experimental and artisanal, using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients wherever possible.
Handpicked wines and bubbles from Australian wineries, soft drinks, zero beer, juices and kombucha are also available. The kitchen offers authentic Napoli style woodfired pizzas, burgers, shared plates and more.

The Bangalow Market
The Bangalow market has a fabulous variety of everything you could ever want to find at a market from food to clothes, to home wares to jewellery to psychics to candles to plants and garden decorations plus more and is situated on beautiful grounds which are dominated by eleven huge camphor laurel trees providing welcome shade and a magic forest atmosphere.
