The Bangalow Market is a treat for day trippers, visitors and locals alike as well as being a welcomed retreat from the hustle and bustle of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Bangalow Market and township is a stunning window into the beauty of village life. If you are travelling to the market definitely plan to visit for the day.
Bangalow market has enjoyed notoriety and success since its inception in 1982. It is large and has a fabulous variety of everything you could ever want to find at a market from food to clothes, to home wares to jewellery to psychics to candles to plants and garden decorations plus more. It is situated on beautiful grounds which are dominated by eleven huge camphor laurel trees providing welcome shade and a magic forest atmosphere.
For health and safety regulations pets are not allowed to attend so please leave your pooch at home. Parking is available in the showgrounds at the market. There is a small parking fee.
A percentage of the market profit each month is distributed to Bangalow Community Groups on a rotating basis. The market then benefits the whole community and fulfils its role as a community market.
Profits from parking fees are used to maintain and improve the showground. The grounds are managed by a committee of community volunteers.
