4 Day Aussie Wildlife Adventure | Vision Walks Eco Tours

Book this tour for an unforgettable 4-day, 5-night Aussie Wildlife Adventure right here in stunning Byron Bay, NSW, Australia.

On the tour you will be immersed in the beauty of our surrounding nature as you embark on daily adventures in search of Australia’s iconic wildlife. All of the guides are environmental scientists who will be able to provide you with some unique insights into what you are seeing.

Wildlife Safari

Day one kicks off your adventure by exploring three diverse habitats, where you’ll encounter koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, pademelons, flying foxes, and a variety of bird species. With guaranteed sightings of koalas and kangaroos, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the river.

Platypus Quest & Dolphin Paddle

Rise and shine at the crack of dawn on day two as you go in search of the elusive monotreme, the platypus. After your successful quest, enjoy a delightful picnic breakfast. In the afternoon, you will hit the iconic waters of Byron Bay for an unforgettable paddle in search of playful dolphins.

Whale Watching/ Snorkeling & Night Vision Walk

On day three you will experience the thrill of whale watching in the morning as you find the majestic humpback whales migrating along the coast (June to October). If your booking falls outside the whale season you will go snorkeling at Julian Rocks, a deep sea location rated as one of the top ten snorkelling spots in the country by Australian Geographic (December to April). Then, as the sun sets, don your military-grade night vision goggles for a fascinating nocturnal adventure in the rainforest, where we’ll encounter the creatures of the night.

Bird Watching Cruise

On day four, our final day, we’ll embark on a serene bird watching cruise along the beautiful Tweed river, with our partners Tweed Escapes. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of white-bellied sea eagles, ospreys, kingfishers, oyster catchers, egrets, cormorants, and pelicans as we glide through the tranquil waters. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
