The Matsuri Japan Byron Bay is a family-friendly, entry-free annual community event that introduces unique Japanese cultural experiences to our visitors and our community.
Bring your picnic mat to sit on and enjoy the festival and the beach breeze at your outdoor picnic dinner.
YATAI Asian street foods will be served under the lantern and live Japanese music and entertainment will be provided. Many festival stalls will sell Japanese goods, including kimonos.
This event has something for everyone, from the delicious food to the powerful beats of the Taiko drumming to the intricate craft workshops, to the traditional performances plus more – all with a unique Japanese twist – even the Surf Club Beer Garden.
