Lismore Lantern Parade is a nationally and internationally recognised, award-winning annual festival that celebrates the Winter Solstice. The festival is based around a breath-taking parade of lanterns, light and performance through the main streets of Lismore, travelling to the banks of the Wilson’s River where a theatrical performance, fireworks and a spectacular bonfire continue the celebration. It is well worth the 45 minute drive west from Byron along the Bruxner Highway to participate in this festival!
