You’re invited to travel, taste and indulge in the best food from the Northern Rivers at the 2024 Harvest Food Trail. This year’s trail program features many free-to-visit locations and events, and a number of ticketed events that typically sell out quickly.
Thursday & Friday 2-3 May | TASTE OF HARVEST
Preceding the weekend Harvest Food Trail are two days dedicated to tastings, cooking demonstrations, and food knowledge and skills across the region. Think foraging-inspired menus, cooking with fire, cocktail making, amazing bush tucker brekkies, nose to tail eating, knife techniques and more. Join in these special events at some of your favourite restaurants, pubs and farmers markets.
Saturday 4 May (free entry) | HARVEST HUB
On the Saturday, from 11am – 4pm at the Bangalow Bowlo, you’ll have the chance to sample and buy from some of the local stars of the Northern Rivers food and beverage industry in an indoor farmers market-style event. Appearing at the Harvest Hub will be new distillers, plant-based cheese producers, non-alcoholic beer makers, seafood sellers, shrub makers, olive growers, salumi makers and native jams and honey producers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with these local businesses and hear the stories behind their brands.
Saturday & Sunday 4-5 May | HARVEST FOOD TRAIL
If your idea of foodie heaven is tootling along picturesque country roads and dropping into glorious farms, restaurants and cellar doors along the way, then the Harvest Food Trail is for you.
Now in its eighth year, our iconic self-drive trail is a unique opportunity to spend two days wandering through the gates and into the paddocks, kitchens, bottling rooms and packing sheds of some of the Northern Rivers finest food and beverage producers. It’s the ultimate way of going behind the scenes to where the magic happens.
