Byron Writers Festival is Australia’s favourite regional meeting place of storytelling and ideas. As one of the country’s great creative hubs, they curate and develop programs that create shared moments of human connection for thousands of people.

At this year’s Byron Writers Festival, titled  Wild Imagination, you are invited to step away from the everyday, immerse yourself in a world of ideas and stories, and let your imagination run wild!

The new festival site is located at Bangalow Showground, Market Street, Bangalow (approx. 15min drive from Byron Bay) with the theme designed around five themed venues.

Mind Spa: Nourish your soul and revive your mind

A free festival shuttle bus will be operating between the Byron Bay bus interchange (Butler St), Cavanbah Centre (Ewingsdale Rd) and the festival site from Friday 11 – Sunday 13 August. Free car parking is available at Cavanbah Centre for shuttle bus patrons.

On-site car parking is by donation (EFTPOS facilities available) and opens at 7.30am each day.  Carpooling is encouraged!
