About the Community Market

Byron’s original market since 1987, the Byron Community Market is an eclectic collection of market stalls that showcase Byron’s intrinsic authenticity and lively culture. This market provides betterment to the community by supporting local businesses and talent. Fused with the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, artistic talent, fantastic food, local musicians and authentic products, the Community Market offers an inspiring illustration of Byron’s local community at its best.

Byron Markets happen every 1st Sunday of the month. It is a truly special event that welcomes everyone from near and far to enjoy the Byron Bay community.

Positive Impact

As our Community Markets aim to increase environmental and communal prosperity, each month we feature a local charity to collect donations at the entrances to the market, which gives them a major boost to their fundraising. There are also environmental initiatives in place to ensure waste minimisation and to maximise recycling.

Live music at the Community Market on Sunday 16th January will be Tim Stokes, Bruno Bah & friends plus one more local artist to be confirmed!
