ABOUT THE PROGRAMS
Our school holiday programs are run Mon-Sat during every NSW & QLD school holidays! Circus Arts Byron Bay boasts a beautiful indoor venue with an incredible variety of apparatus to learn on. We pack the programs with fun circus activities including acrobatics and a swing on the high flying trapeze (for those who dare). We even have a cafe on site and an optional add-on lunchbox so everything is taken care of. You can leave the kids with us and feel confident that they will have a great time!
Choose from full or half day programs and extend by adding our special holiday options.
Ages: Kids (5-11) and teens (12-16).
Skill level: Suitable for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced.
When: Every NSW & QLD School Holidays, next 4 – 16 July 2022.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
Each program teaches kids exciting new skills and includes the following activities:
Acrobatics
Tight wire
Object manipulation (juggling, spinning plates) Mini and Olympic size trampolines
Aerial silks
Hula hoops
Plus a swing on a famous flying trapeze
Participants will learn circus in an inclusive and non-competitive friendly environment, which is important for building self-esteem and confidence. We believe that kids learn best through play and we provide plenty of opportunities for that – our programs are a lot of fun!
We accept Creative Kids voucher for the full day program and Parents & Discover NSW vouchers for both half day and full day programs.
HALF DAY PROGRAM
Duration: 2.5 hours (without add-ons)
Cost: $40 (without add-ons)
Time: Choose from morning (9.30am – 12pm) or afternoon (2pm – 4.30pm) What to bring: Your own water bottle and snacks for morning/afternoon tea Use your Discover NSW voucher to take $25 off
FULL DAY PROGRAM
Duration: 7 hours
Cost: $70 (without add-ons)
Time: 9.30am – 4.30pm
What to bring: Your own water bottle and snacks for morning/afternoon tea Use your Creative Kids or Discover NSW voucher
Activities & Games are included with the full day program from 12.30pm to 2pm
Lunch break is from 12pm to 12.30pm and is supervised by our coaches. Bring your own lunch or order our delicious lunch box as an add-on.
OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
If you would like to extend the program (add more circus fun to your child’s day with us) we have some fantastic options for you to choose from. You will have an option to add any of these when booking online.
NINJA/PARKOUR
1.5 hours | $30 12.30pm
Our all-time favourite that combines two popular classes – Ninja and Parkour. This class focuses on techniques and skills to move the body efficiently and conquer each of the ninja obstacles. So much fun!
Runs daily and is only available with one of the school holiday programs.
FLYING TRAPEZE
1.5 hours | $44 12.30pm and 4.30pm
Our specialty – a full class of flying trapeze that teaches a position on the bar and two attempts at a catch mid-air. Discounted from $68 to $44 when booked together with one of the school holiday programs.
ACTIVITIES AND GAMES
1.5 hours | $15 12.30pm
Let us entertain the kids with fun and educational games, and animal balloon twisting!
This session is included in the full day program. Can be added to either half day programs.
LUNCH BOX

Lunch break
A delicious vegetarian lunch box filled with fried rice, veggie sticks, muffin and fruit juice.
*Lunch boxes are made nut free, but please note that traces of nuts can be present.
FLYING TRAPEZE
Flying trapeze is the ultimate adventure activity for anyone wanting to experience the thrill of flying. This is our absolute highlight and the activity that so many love and come back for!
Amaze yourself by mastering the knee hang, backflip to net and catch all in one session!
This is a 1.5 hour flying trapeze class suitable for all abilities Monday – Saturday, visit our website for class times

Our experienced fly coaches will take you through all the steps and teach you the correct technique to perform various tricks.
Flying trapeze is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Beginners and advanced students can join the same flying trapeze class, adults and children too! Bring the whole family and everyone will be entertained.
INDOOR CLIMBING
The only place to climb in Byron Bay!
Rain or shine, come and enjoy our newly renovated indoor climbing wall with 20 climbs, crack climb and conditioning ladder.
Great for kids through to experienced climbers. Sessions can be booked online on our website.
Casual climbing session $15
Session duration is up to 1 hour and 15 minutes
Please bring your own shoes. Shoe hire is not available at the moment Monday – Friday, 9.30am–7pm
Saturday, 9.30am–2pm
Minimum age to climb 5 years
Both manual and auto-belays available
All abilities welcome including special needs
We use the TRUBLUE Auto Belay, which is considered to be the most trusted & most widely used auto belay in the world due to its high quality design, patented magnetic technology, and reliable performance. It is easy to use and it provides a smooth descent as it accommodates a wide range of climber weights: The TRUBLUE allows for a weight range of 10 to 150 kg.
ADULT CLASSES
HANDSTANDS & ACROBATICS
This class is aimed at providing a diverse and extensive range of handstand, acrobatic and tumbling skills to adults with any level of experience. You will have fun while learning drills and techniques to be able to execute a gymnastics style handstand as well as the fundamentals of flipping around on both the ground and trampoline.
Monday and Wednesday, 6.30pm-8pm
$25 casual / $120 – 6 week course (6 classes)
ADULT AERIALS
We know how hard you work to build up your strength and stamina so don’t let it wain over the holidays. In these classes you will dance, spin, climb and flip in the air on silks, static trapeze and lyra. Each class involves an appropriate warm-up, conditioning, a focus on one or two different aerial apparatus per session, and a cool-down.
