Set in the picturesque Bangalow Parklands and Byron Creek weir area the Bangalow Heritage House Museum & Cafe opens 10am to 3pm Tuesday – Friday. Our cafe serves delicious home made local and seasonal treats including scones and jam and cream and offers a traditional home made menu; things like soups in winter, home baked pies, melts, sandwiches, fish and chips, bagels and breakfast type foods such as smashed avocado and bacon and eggs rolls etc etc. We are pet friendly and cafe seating is inside and outside and we offer a take away food menu.

We cater for bus and other groups on our verandah can be hired out privately for events and other functions with us providing the catering. Our specialty is offering prebooked high teas with a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 50 people seated on our verandah.

At present our Museum is going through a transition process as we prepare for our building renovation early next year. As such there is a limited amount of items on display ..though there is always local things and memorabilia to see. We are still accepting research and other enquiries from the public.

Close to the beautiful Bangalow Parklands, & weir, there are disabled and other toilet facilities, a dog off leash area and the new off street council carpark. We are a great place to bring the whole family.
