Air T&G Scenic Helicopter Tours
Take a flight of a lifetime. Our professional helicopter pilots are eager to showcase the unique beauty that Byron Bay, Ballina and the greater Northern Rivers has to offer.
Lovin’ Lennox – Lennox Head (approx. 20 minutes)
The helicopter will take you over Lake Ainsworth, just north of the township of Lennox Head. From here, you fly south cruising around the impressive headland, Boulders Beach, the well known Flat Rock and down to the Richmond River. Get a birds eye view of the Ballina township before heading back to the heli pad.
All tours run from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays by special request.
Coastal Chill – Byron Bay (approx. 30 minutes)
Our most popular helicopter tour over Byron Bay! Head north over Lennox Head, flying along some of our country’s best beaches to Cape Byron. Along the way take in beautiful Broken Head and enjoy views from the hinterland all the way to the Gold Coast. We’ll lap the Cape Byron Lighthouse, the most easterly point of Australia, and fly coastal all the way home to Ballina.
All tours run from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays by special request.
Surf and Turf – Byron Bay Coast & Hinterland (approx. 45 minutes)
The best of both worlds! Track inland towards the rolling hills of orchards and farming country that is the Byron hinterland, including the gorgeous townships of Alstonville and Bangalow. As your helicopter makes a gentle turn back towards the Pacific Ocean you will have distant views of Mount Warning and the Gold Coast, making your way down to Cape Byron. From here take in Main Beach and the Lighthouse, the most easterly point of Australia, before flying home along some of our country’s best beaches including the beautiful Broken and Lennox headlands. Simply stunning!
