Pack a blanket, a picnic basket and bring the whole family along for our annual community gathering in the grounds of Tweed Regional Gallery. Take in the stunning view that has inspired so many artists in our collection while you enjoy live music, free art activities for the kids, and observe artists at work outdoors. Watch as the sun sets from the best spot in Murwillumbah.

Artists are invited to come along and set up to work en plein air overlooking the stunning Tweed Valley. Enjoy our newly-completed Margaret Olley Memorial Garden, generously funded by the Margaret Olley Art Trust and the Tweed Regional Gallery Foundation Ltd.

Special guest artist-mentor, Nicholas Harding will be onsite during the afternoon. Nicholas is an award-winning Australian painter known for his portraits and landscapes.
