Hosted by the Byron Community Centre, Stella Day Out is coming to Byron Bay for the first time with a free, one-day literary festival celebrating and promoting the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature. Their strong lineup features Stella prize winner, Michelle de Kretser, and acclaimed authors Fiona Wright and Joesphine Rowe, with local moderators Annie O’Rourke and Jessica Alice.

There are two sessions. First session is Michelle de Kretser In Conversation with Annie O’Rourke at 11am – 12pm

This session has the authors, Fiona Wright and Josephine Rowe  discussing their books and examining the female experience and fragility. Moderated by Byron Bay Writers Festival Director Jessica Alice.
