Sarah Blasko is touring in celebration of her seventh solo album I Just Need To Conquer This Mountain. The album traces the inevitability of painful goodbyes in all their forms and the final acceptance that follows a period of grief and sees Sarah Blasko firmly in the present as she searches for the light that comes with new beginnings.
Sarah Blasko is a musician who writes songs that strike with rare immediacy, clarity and purpose. Her melodies are beguilingly simple, her lyrics ever honest and direct. Sarah has reached rarefied status in Australia and over the course of her albums has received countless award nominations receiving three ARIA awards and triple j’s Album Of The Year for ‘As Day Follows Night’.
Sarah has written music for film, television, theatre and ballet. She has performed with Symphony Orchestras, string quartets, electronic duos, and makes up one third of the beloved ‘Seeker Lover Keeper’ collaboration alongside Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby. Sarah’s live performance at Brunswick Heads is not to be missed!
