SAMPLE FOOD FESTIVAL 2021

We look forward to welcoming you to the 10th Anniversary Sample Food Festival, a taste of Northern NSW on Saturday 4th September 2021 at the Bangalow Showgrounds.

Join us for $5 and $10 tasting plates from the region’s top restaurants including Harvest Newrybar, Shelter Lennox Head, Beach Byron Bay, No Bones, Forest Byron Bay, Karkalla Byron Bay and Mercado Juarez. In a new initiative for the festival, the Hunter Valley restaurant Muse Kitchen and head chef Josh Gregory will also be attending as a special guest restaurant this year. Some of the best beverages Northern New South Wales has to offer will be available from Stone and Wood Brewery, Granite Belt Cider Co, The Cellar wine bar & local boutique distilleries. Market stalls, live music and more to be announced including pop up events.

For the first time, Sample Food Festival will be offering three ticketed time slots to the event with pre-purchased tickets available. Read more about tickets here.

This year’s headliners are Australia’s number one vegan chef Shannon Martinez, owner of prolific plant-based businesses; Smith & Daughters and Smith & Deli, and Adam Liaw, writer, cook, television presenter, former lawyer and Masterchef series two winner. Byron Bay’s own Magdalena Roze will also be joining the line-up of special guests.
