A special one-off Moonlight Cinema Event at The Sanctuary with feature film, Fern Gully The Last Rainforest and wildlife documentary Outback Wildlife.
This very special event will take place in the evening of Saturday 16 September at Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
Gates open at 4:30pm so come early, grab some food, a drink, relax or explore the Sanctuary.
At 5:30pm there will be a screening of Outback Wildlife: Deserts and Grasslands produced by Into The Wild Films. This is a brilliant short documentary about Australia as the driest inhabited content on earth and explores Australia’s deserts and arid landscapes to discover some of the plants and wildlife that inhabit Australia’s Outback- many of which you’ll find at Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
At 6:30pm the feature presentation of children’s film, Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest will begin. This film, now over 20 years old, still presents kids with a valuable message about conservation and wildlife protection.
Throughout the evening food will be available from Sanctuary Cafe along with a great range of snacks like popcorn and donuts plus adults can indulge in the licensed bar which will be serving up beverages throughout the event.
This is a ticketed event and bookings are strictly limited.
There is the option to book a bean bag for the event which is priced per person. This ticket means you will have a bean bag available to you to sit on for the Moonlight cinema. If your child is going to sit on your lap on the bean bag you can book them a standard pass in addition to your bean bag pass.
You can also book a standard pass which is a standard ticket where you can bring your own folding chair or picnic blanket to sit and watch the film.
Bring the family and have a great night out #forthewildlife
