Experience a magical evening of sacred music, fairy-lit gardens, and ancient Tibetan rituals – all for a powerful cause.

For a rare night-time experience set within the geodesic Peace Dome at Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens in the Byron Bay hinterland go along to hear the Gyuto Monks of Tibet performing their Chants of Compassion Sacred Music Concert.

Visitors will be immersed in centuries-old practices of peace, love, and mindfulness, led by the Gyuto Monks’ extraordinary overtone chanting – a harmonic tradition preserved for over 600 years.

The evening begins with a warm cup of chai and a visit to the Kalachakra World Peace Stupa, before enjoying a sunset dinner overlooking the Crystal Guardians and Byron’s hinterland. The experience culminates inside the Peace Dome, where the monks’ chants can bring deep meditative states. The concert is part of a month-long residency at Crystal Castle running from Wednesday 8 October to Tuesday 4 November, where visitors can enjoy daily meditation, chanting sessions, sand mandala creation, children’s cultural activities, and more – all included with regular Day Pass admission.

“This is a rare gift to share with our visitors with 100% of the profits from Chants of Compassion directly benefiting the Gyuto Monastery in India and their Australian tour.” Toby King, General Manager of Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens.
