When the Byron Latin Fiesta was born, the main focus was to bring the local Latin dance community together and to give the national industry within Australia a platform to showcase their talents. It was also intended to educate and excite new comers. As the event has evolved and grown it has become an International, National and Local event and yet, it still strives to keep a rather grass roots approach and to stay connected to it’s humble beginnings.
The Byron Latin Fiesta running from November 2 – November 5 is held in the heart of Byron Bay at the Byron Theatre & Community Centre. The event happens over four nights & three days and is Australia’s longest running Latin dance festival.
