Delphi Goes Bassooning: A Tiny Musical in 13 Chapters
At age 14, Janet Swain is in love with the tragic and brilliant cellist Jacqueline DuPre. But one day, her mother arrives home with… a bassoon.
So begins a story that explores mothers and daughters; the struggle for a creative life, expectations, disappointments and the relentless wheel of generational patterns.
This is Janet’s very first solo show and features 9 original songs, 5 characters and one bassoon.
