Bangalow BBQ Bluegrass Festival

Warm up this Winter in the Byron hinterland at the Bangalow BBQ Bluegrass Festival Friday 17 & Saturday 18 August, Bangalow A&I Hall & Showgrounds.

You be the judge as over 50 teams battle it out for the Firebrand BBQ competition bragging rights. Wash down your tasting plates with a local craft brew by Byron Bay Brewery, or a Brookies Gin cocktail and enjoy the bluegrass line-up headlined by festival favourites The Mid North and featuring The Cartridge Family, The Long Yard and more as curated by the incomparable Ash Bell (Starboard Cannons). Pickers & pickle comps and kids entertainment makes this event a family favourite with locals in the iconic Bangalow Showgrounds from 10am Sat 18 August.

Plus, for those in the know, the Old Time Variety show (MA15+) – Fri 17 August 6-10 pm, A&I Hall returns with the promise of a night of riotous fun as over 70 artists perform music and comedy in an old time radio show format. Warning: seating is limited and will sell out. Get your tix here.
