The Art of the Garden

Throughout history gardens have reflected and responded to artistic trends of the day, alongside developments in architecture, interior design, fashion and the arts. This lecture presented by Marilyn Elm, a qualified landscape architect and interior designer, examines the layout, materials, ornamentation, buildings and planting design of gardens and the interplay between space, composition, colour, texture and form.
