SUMMARY:Newrybar Merchants -KERRY O'BRIEN - 'A MEMOIR' BOOK SIGNING
DESCRIPTION:KERRY O’BRIEN ‘A MEMOIR’ BOOK SIGNING \nWe are honoured to be hosting six-time Walkey award winning ABC journalist Kerry O’Brien for the signing of his latest book ‘A Memoir’\, in partnership with The Bookroom this Sunday 16th December from 2.30 – 4.30pm. \nJoin us for the opportunity to meet and talk with Kerry over a drink and nibbles\, where you can purchase a signed copy of his latest book (a great gift for Christmas!). \nIn a career spanning more than 50 years\, ‘A Memoir’ reflects on the social and political upheavals Kerry witnessed and the personalities who have made history; an engrossing study of a private life lived in the public eye. \nWhether strolling the history-laden corridors of the White House unhindered while waiting to interview Barak Obama\, or talking with Nelson Mandela on his first day in the presidential residence in Pretoria\, or receiving a haughty rebuke from an indignantly regal Margaret Thatcher\, Kerry has sought to unearth the truth behind the news. \nDate: Sunday 16th December\nLocation: Newrybar Merchants\nTime: 2.30pm – 4.30pm\nCost: FREE
