From preschoolers to celebrities, those willing to brave the big hill congregate with their wacky carts. Gravity presides and the Spring sun shines on the thousands watching. Sharon Shostak, Lyn McCarthy, along with many other photographers, catch the action footage of the thrills and spills from the annual Summerland Credit Union Billycart Derby at Bangalow in September every year. The Bangalow Lions Club organise this incredible community event, with support from local volunteers and the generosity of a range of sponsors.
