Meant To Bead – Byron Hot Glass Workshop

Melting of glass has been around for hundreds of years for the purpose of beautiful artwork and jewellery. Chris Pena of Meant to Bead in Byron has been involved in all facets of glass since 1989 and the past 10 years has concentrated in learning the art of glass bead making from some very recognised bead makers throughout the world.

Meant to Bead in Byron gives all customers the ability to create their own style of bracelet, earrings and /or necklace all at a very affordable price. Meant to Bead is located in the Arts Industrial Estate Byron Bay, 5-minute walk from the new Byron Beach North Train Station, 3km from the Byron Bay CBD.

All classes consist of a brief safety induction (10-15 min) then it is straight onto the torch to learn the art of melting Glass for art.  Customers will leave the class in awe of what they have made over the 3 hours class, which will be a unique one of a kind everlasting experience of Byron Bay.  Transport to and from Byron Bay town to the Arts & Industrial Estate is also included.
