ABOUT Lone Goat Gallery
Lone Goat Gallery is Byron Shire’s premier community gallery, presenting emerging and established artists from the Northern Rivers region alongside National and International artists. Located in the Byron Bay Library building in downtown Byron Bay, just a short walk from Main Beach – a quiet cultural haven among the hubbub of town.
Lone Goat Gallery presents a monthly program of exhibitions, artists talks and workshops. The gallery programming reflects the diverse array of visual arts in the Northern Rivers, showcasing emerging and established local artists as well as artists from further afield. The name Lone Goat Gallery was inspired by the last goat of a small herd that used to roam the Cape Byron headland by the Lighthouse, reflecting the many creative and free-spirited individuals that make up this community.
