wallow in a day spa, or lose yourself in a floatation tank
experience the rainforest in the wet
listen to some free live music in the pubs
have a surfing lesson - you're going to get wet anyway!
nip up to Bangalow and buy some real art, an oriental rug or some world music
check out the Community Centre for activities and entertainment
go to the Byron Entertainment Centre and learn the trapeze
take the kids to Macademia Castle to see the animals and ride the train
