A classic Queenslander style beach home, Sunshine House is encased in white timber framing with wide, shady verandas and large covered outdoor entertaining area at the rear. Inside, it’s impeccably styled with a modern, crisp white palette and splashes of bright and vibrant colour throughout. Ideally located in Suffolk Park, only 5 minutes stroll to local shops and tavern and 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Tallow Beach, this beach cottage promises to bring sunshine to your Byron Bay holiday.

 

Living / Dining / Cooking

Spacious and open plan, the Sunshine House living, dining and cooking space is light-filled and breezy, with polished timber floors and French-style glass sliding doors opening to the balcony space.  Unwind after a busy Byron day in the cosy living space on soft, plush furniture and rest your weary travelling feet on the large, stylish ottoman, all while watching the wall-mounted, flat screen TV.

Share meals at the 8-seater dining suite, with plush high back chairs and splashes of bright colour, dining beneath a striking electric blue chandelier style pendant light. The fully-functional corner kitchen boasts top quality stainless steel appliances, filtered water spout, coffee plunger and the same polished summer styling which is featured throughout this gorgeous beach home.

 

Sleeping

Bright and airy, the 3 spacious bedrooms are illuminated with natural light and styled with vibrant colour. The queen bedroom includes a study nook with desk and chair and french doors that open out to the living space.

Sunshine House accommodates 6 guests, with the following flexible bedding configuration:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed

Bedrooms 2 & 3: King Bed or twin king singles in each

 

Bathroom

Simple and stylish, the all white bathroom includes splashes of sunshine yellow, a deep, luxurious bath for rest and relaxation and a large open shower. An extra guest toilet is located within the laundry for added convenience.

 

Outdoor

Amble up the classic timber staircase to the front veranda, where a sunshine yellow front door beckons you inside. Wide, wrap around timber decking surrounds the house, with scattered outdoor seating and views to the tropical garden.

At the rear of the property, guests will find an entertainer’s delight – a large covered outdoor area complete with BBQ, outdoor dining table and bright, cushioned bench seating that doubles as a daybed. Enjoy a balmy summer BBQ or curl up on the hammock with your summer holiday book.

The ultimate ode to summer can be found within the gorgeous grassy backyard – four stylish sun loungers and an outdoor shower – your invitation to bathe in the beautiful Byron Bay sunshine.

 

Additional Features

The living space has reverse cycle air conditioning and there are ceiling fans throughout Sunshine House. Leave the car in the driveway and go out exploring on the 4 bikes with padlocks available for guest use, free of charge.

 

Location

Sunshine House is located in Suffolk Park, less than 10 minutes drive south of the centre of Byron Bay. Walk 10 minutes and find yourself on the pristine, unspoilt shores of Tallow Beach or jump on the guest bikes and weave through the coastside bike path network, stretching 15kms past beautiful beaches, bushland and national park. A collection of local shops meet all your holiday needs, including a delicious bakery, fresh fruit and vegetable store and classic local pub, only 5 minutes walk from Sunshine House.

– Christmas and New Year Bookings: if dates include both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve a 12 night min stay applies.
– We reserve the right to cancel any bookings made that do not comply with these conditions. Breaches of these conditions during your stay may result in loss of bond or immediate termination.
